Electric Stand-Up Scooters

Currently, you can legally buy an eScooter, but you can't ride it on the UK public road, cycle lane or pavement. The only place an eScooter can be used is on private land, with the permission of the landowner.

However, you may have seen electric scooter trails around the UK. We are confident that in 2021 eScooters will be made legal to use on the road and in cycle lanes (and we have it on good authority).

We're also aware of the specification for the legalisation of eScooters and the KS-350 has been designed to meet these regulations So, you can be sure that when the law does change, you can get on the road on your KS-350 legally.

eBikes

Eskuta eBikes or ‘Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles’ are classed similarly to regular bicycles. The main difference is that you must be at least 14 years old to ride an eBike.

This means that there’s no insurance or road tax to consider, and of course no fuel and at only 10p for a charge, they’re extremely cheap to run and own.
